We are a part of a society that endorses fantasies through the means of various social media channels; increasing household debt, decreasing life satisfaction and increasing mental health problems. SHEinvests would like to provide a solution for these problems through the means of education. We would like to encourage and empower women from ALL backgrounds to invest in themselves first by teaching them the fundamentals of investing and personal finance.
I’m sure many of you have seen the story where two people are given £1000 each. One individual decides to invest their £1000 and gains a surplus of £350 (overall left with £1350), whereas the other decides to spend £650 instead for their social media followers and is left with £350. We aim to increase the number of people who will decide to invest their money instead which will leave them in a better place.
We will start with the basics and teach you how to manage your finances and progress onto what to do with your disposable income (how to invest). The more followers we pick up along on this journey the more events we can hold and organise bigger things that will help you become goddesses in investments.
We would like SHEinvests to be a family of females because we are UNDERREPRESENTED when we talk about investing and it’s about time we change that.
This website will strip down the world of investments and teach you how to invest your money.
